For the last 14 years, Brett Sourapas has been a fierce competitor in the off-road industry. His resume includes many wins, podiums, and a class championship in 2015. Sourapas began his racing career in 2006, at the age of 10, where he competed against kids around his age in Trophy Karts.
Brett made the transition over to off-road in 2011 when his father, off-road legend Steve Sourapas, purchased two TrophyLite Spec trucks for Brett and his brother, Christian, to get their feet wet. Brett’s career started to pick up the pace after making the move to the Trophy Truck Spec (Class 6100) division in 2014, where he found quick success. Brett and Christian teamed up to win four out of the six BITD (Best in the Desert) races, clinching an overall class title in 2015.
Brett’s success in the Trophy Truck Spec class earned him a quick promotion to the Unlimited Trophy Truck class in 2016, making him one of the youngest drivers in the class. Brett has celebrated numerous top five finishes and a handful of podiums, but his biggest accomplishment was earning his first career overall victory at the 2019 Parker 425. In 2020, Brett and Christian are back driving together as a team and are confident they can repeat the same success they had in 2015.
